Horses Needing Adoption

Horses that are rescued from abuse, neglect, slaughter or surrendered to a rescue agency all need to be adopted by loving owners. Rescue agencies have limited capacity, and providing a home to one of these horses allows the agency to save another horse from a bad situation.

Rescued horses, while sometimes not ideal for the inexperienced owner, appreciate the second chance at life that they are given and often become the owner’s favorite. Whether you are willing to provide a rescued horse a permanent home or a foster home while awaiting adoption, more horses can be saved by the rescue agencies if more horses can be removed from their facilities.

There are several horse rescue organizations across our state that have horses available for adoption. Thank you for allowing us to help you find that special horse.

  Consignment Horses

Horses for sale in this section are being sold by private owners that want to make sure their horse has a good loving home. Many of these horses are at risk for ending up at slaughter due to their lack of training or their current condition.

Through the use of the Transfer of Ownership form the seller is guaranteed the First Right of Refusal if the horse ever needs to be sold by the purchaser.
